Bundled Products for WooCommerce — User Guide

1. Install

Free version: go to Plugins → Add New, install “Bundled Products for WooCommerce”, and activate it. WooCommerce must be installed and active.

Pro version: go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, upload the Pro ZIP, and activate it. Pro is self-contained — you do not need to install the free plugin first. If the free plugin is already installed, Pro switches it off automatically and shows a notice with a one-click button to remove it, so you only ever run one plugin.

2. Create a bundle

  1. Go to Products → Add New and give your bundle a name, image and description like any product.
  2. In the Product data box, change the product type dropdown to Bundle.
  3. Open the new Bundle tab.

3. Add the products

Under Bundled products, search for each product you want to include and set its quantity. You can add as many as you like.

4. Choose how it’s priced

  • Per item — the price is the total of the contained products. Optionally add a discount (a percentage or a fixed amount off).
  • Fixed bundle price — you set one price for the whole bundle.

5. Choose how it enters the cart

  • Separate line items — each product is its own cart line, keeping its own stock, shipping and (for digital goods) its own licence key or download. Best for digital bundles.
  • Single assembled item — the bundle is one cart line with its own stock, weight and shipping. Best for a physical gift set shipped as one package.

6. (Pro) Add configurable options

In the Configurable options section of the Bundle tab, for each product you can set:

  • Optional — let the shopper include or exclude the product.
  • Min / Max quantity — the range the shopper may choose. Leave blank to keep the fixed quantity from step 3.
  • Default — the quantity selected to begin with.
  • Choose variation — for variable products, let the shopper pick the variation (size, colour, …). Sold-out combinations are hidden automatically.

Configurable options apply to bundles set to Separate line items.

7. Publish

Publish the bundle like any product. If something essential is missing — no products added, or a fixed-price bundle with no price — you’ll see a reminder so it never goes live priced at zero by accident.

8. (Pro) Activate your licence

  1. Go to Products → Bundles.
  2. In the License card, paste the key from your purchase and click Activate.
  3. You’ll see “Active — updates until …”.

The plugin is fully functional without a key — a licence only controls whether you receive new versions. Renew to keep getting updates.

9. (Pro) Analytics & tools

From Products → Bundles you can open the Analytics dashboard (revenue, bundles sold, attach rate, top bundles) and the Tools page to import/export bundle definitions or bulk-apply pricing, discounts and cart mode across all bundles at once.
