Description

Turn a flat, lifeless snare into one that cuts through the mix — in one click. Snare Enhancer listens to your snare track and layers a triggered, tuneable “crack” and ambience on top of the original hit. It doesn’t replace your drummer — it reinforces what’s already there, so recorded and live drums hit harder, sit clearer, and stop needing heavy EQ and compression to sound big.

What it does

Snare Enhancer runs three parallel layers you blend to taste:

• Dry — your original snare, untouched.
• Crack — the triggered punch: a tuneable noise burst and/or your own sample, with harmonizers, a short reverb and EQ.
• Space — an independent, tuneable ambience/reverb for room and depth.

Hit Learn, play a few bars, and Snare Enhancer sets the threshold and picks the best detection mode for you: Auto, Peak (rock-solid on isolated backbeats), or Transient (also catches fast rolls, fills and ghost notes). A live Trigger Scope shows every detected hit.

Layer your own sound

Load your own snare or clap sample to blend in or to drive the reverb, with independent level, dynamics and polarity — velocity-sensitive throughout.

Built for the stage as well as the studio — near-zero latency

Snare Enhancer reports zero latency to your DAW and does not delay your dry signal — your snare passes straight through and the enhancement fires the instant a hit is detected. Any latency you hear on stage comes from your audio interface and buffer size, not the plugin. For the tightest live setup, use Peak detection and turn the Trigger Scope off.
